UPDATE 09/05/25 - Important Update Regarding Your NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Pre-Order

Thank you for your patience and support as we continue working to fulfil your pre-order for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 or 5090 graphics card. We want to share an update with you on the current situation: Stock and Fulfilment Update:

  • At this time, we still do not have clear ETAs for when your specific pre-order will be fulfilled.
  • Stock availability has improved for some models of RTX 5080 graphics cards
  • However, due to ongoing global shortages and extremely limited supply allocations of NVIDIA RTX 50 series graphics cards, particularly the RTX 5090, we are currently able to fulfil only a small number of RTX 5090 orders per week.
  • We have fulfilled hundreds of RTX 50 preorders since launch across a range of brands and models and hope the supply of these popular NVIDIA graphics cards improve.
  • We completely understand and agree that this is frustrating and sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Our Commitment to You:

  • We are honouring all RTX 5080 & RTX 5090 pre-orders at the original price you paid, even though the current price is listed at an increased price well over $1,000+ for many models at some retailers and marketplaces.
  • Due to the current situation, we are not accepting new RTX 50 series preorders for impacted SKUs until we fulfil all current pre-orders.

You have a choice:

  • You are welcome to continue waiting for stock to arrive as you are in an exclusive pre-order queue.
    • Your pre-order remains secured at the original price and will be fulfilled on a first-in, first-out basis based on approval date.
  • You can consider an alternative In Stock Graphics Card, the stock situation has improved for RTX 5080 graphics cards as well as AMD RX 9070. Our customer service team can help modify your order and refund any difference.
  • You can opt in to consider accepting alternative RTX 5080 or 5090 models, that we do not have an existing preorder for, as they become available. Our customer service team will contact you when alternative models become available and you may choose to accept it instead of your originally ordered card.
  • If you prefer not to wait or take an alternative card, you are welcome to cancel your pre-order and receive a refund in full at any time. Simply send a “Cancel My Order” ticket via Mwave My Account to contact our customer service team, and we will process your refund promptly.

FAQ

I am concerned about news of price increases, does that affect my pre-order?

As you may have known, the stock availability of the RTX 5090 and 5080 is extremely limited at this stage, and the current market prices have already gone up due to a number of other unforeseen factors such as tariffs, foreign exchange rates, and supplier cost increases. However, as your trusted destination, Mwave will NOT increase the price on all pre-orders we received for RTX 5090 & 5080 graphics cards and fulfil them as early as we can.

Any customers that were affected by a price increase will be contacted for a refund on the difference. We apologise for this inconvenience.

I paid for my order, but it is currently pending on your system.

Some payment methods may have processing times. Assuming we receive complete payment within a week after placing your preorder, your preorder will be approved and processed.

What is the ETA for my preorder?

We’re keeping our valued customers updated individually on their preorder ETAs as information becomes available. While we currently don’t have an ETA for most preorders, rest assured we’ll notify you promptly as soon as we receive updates.

What is my position in the preorder queue?

Your position in the preorder queue is determined by date and time your order was approved. It is one of the factors that influences when your order will be fulfilled.

When are you getting more stock?

We have hundreds of units backordered, each with varying ETAs depending on the variant. While we strive to provide accurate estimates, ETAs are subject to change, and many variants currently lack confirmed arrival times. Historically, launches of 30 and 40 series graphics cards have seen limited or no ETAs in the initial months, and fulfilling all preorders may take longer than anticipated. Rest assured, we will fulfil orders as quickly as possible as stock arrives—even if it comes without a prior ETA.

I was emailed tracking details. When will I get my order?

We will automatically email you the tracking details for your order when we generate a consignment to send it out with. Please wait up to 24hours for the tracking to update if it doesn’t update the night you receive the email.

Can I cancel my preorder?

Please note that cancelling your order means forfeiting your position in the preorder queue, which could significantly delay your chances of securing this hot in demand product. If you choose to proceed with your refund request, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method, subject to standard processing times of up to 10 business days. We recommend carefully considering your decision before cancelling to avoid losing your priority in the queue.

I have ordered multiple graphics cards. When will you fulfil all of them?

We will fulfil one unit per unique address first, after which we will fulfil the remaining orders. If you placed multiple orders for different variants in the hopes of getting a unit as soon as possible, you can request a cancellation for the remaining orders after receiving your first unit.

When will you open up more preorders?

We will conduct another round of preorders when most of the current preorders are fulfilled or if the global stock availability vastly improves, whichever is sooner. At this stage, we haven’t confirmed if we will announce when we will open a new round of preorders or do so silently.
