The Synology RX1217 12-Bay Diskless Rackmount Expansion Unit (RX1217)  lets you expand your compatible Synology NAS' storage capacity up to a massive 168TB by allowing you to add a maximum of 12 x 14TB drives.  The RX1217 features 12 tool-free drive bays compatible with 3.5"/2.5" SATA HDDs and 2.5" SATA SSDs, an Infiniband expansion port, three 80mm x 80mm system fans, and a 500W power supply.
