The Synology RackStation RX1215sas SAS/SATA 12-bay NAS Expansion Unit (RXD1215sas) allows you to scale your network storage capacity without disrupting service availability.  The  RackStation RX1215sas NAS expansion unit features 12 drive bays each compatible with 3.5"/2.5" SAS HDDs and 2.5" SAS SSDs, two SAS In-port and two SAS Out-port interfaces, four 60mm x 60mm easy replacement system fans, and two 500W power supplies.
 

Massive scalability

By using two RC18015xs+ high-availability cluster controllers, you can connect up to 15 RXD1215sas expansion units and make a total of 180 network drives available for your enterprise.  Redundant power supplies and SAS modules ensure uninterrupted uptime, preventing business operations from being impacted by network and service upgrades, maintenance and repair efforts, hardware failure, or other unforeseen incidents.
