The Synology NVR1218 2-Bay 12-Channel Network Video Recorder provides the efficiency and flexibility you need to manage up to 12 IP security cameras in your workplace or at your home.  The Synology NVR1218 features a 1.0GHz dual-core embedded NVR SoC, a 1GB DDR3 system memory, two drive bays (expandable to seven bays) compatible with 3.5" SATA HDDs, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, an eSATA port, and a single COM port.  It also comes with one HDMI interface and 3.5mm audio jacks, allowing you to conveniently use a monitor and a headset or speakers to see and hear events picked up by your surveillance equipment.
