The QNAP TS-253Be-4G 2-Bay Diskless NAS (TS-253Be-4G) is a high-end network-attached storage device designed for SMBs and home users.  The QNAP TS-253Be NAS features a 1.5GHz Intel J3455 quad-core processor with built-in AES-NI hardware encryption engine and Intel HD Graphics 500 GPU.  It also comes with a 4GB RAM module occupying one of its two DDR3L SODIMM slots.  The NAS also includes two 2.5" SSD/3.5" HDD drive trays, a PCIe slot, five USB 3.0 ports, two HDMI interfaces, dual Gigabit LAN ports, a built-in speaker, a line-out jack, and two microphone jacks.
 

Flexible expandability

The PCIe 2.0 x2 expansion slot allows you to expand NAS capability as needed.  Put in a 10GbE NIC for 10-Gigabyte network deployment or install a QNAP QM2 M.2 SSD card for cache acceleration.
