**PLEASE NOTE**

The NH-U12S-DX-4677 is a dedicated version of the Intel LGA4677 socket. Due to its customised larger base, it cannot be used on smaller sockets and is incompatible with Noctua's mounting kits for these sockets. Please refer to Noctua's socket compatibility overview for details.

Also, installing an LGA4677 processor and heatsink requires a plastic CPU carrier frame. These carrier frames are included with boxed retail CPUs and are available separately via Intel sales partners for tray-type CPUs. As different CPUs require different carrier frame types (E1A, E1B or E1C), please purchase the correct carrier frame for tray-type CPUs.

At 70x56mm, the heatsink's copper contact surface is more than double the size of the standard model. Tailored to fit the enormous integrated heat spreaders (IHS) of Intel's LGA4677-based processors, this customised design allows optimal heat flow from the CPU over the base to the heat pipes and the cooling fins.

SecuFirm2™ mounting system with standard Intel parts

Integrating standard Intel parts such as the anti-tilt mechanism, Torx® T30 PEEK nuts and the CPU-specific carrier frames (included with boxed retail CPUs and available separately for tray CPUs), the cooler's mounting system fully complies with Intel's installation guidelines. It provides a familiar mounting procedure for experienced LGA4677 users. A Torx® T30 mounting tool is included.
