Ideal for amateur photographers and crafters, this 8-colour ink-set, which includes cyan, magenta, yellow, matte black, photo black, red, orange and gloss optimiser, provides the highest possible gloss combined with the outstanding durability of pigmented inks.

Expanded colour gamut

The inclusion of an orange ink helps ensure more natural skin tones, creates more vivid yellows and oranges and expands the red colour gamut. The magenta and yellow inks have been reformulated to create more accurate blue and green tones.

Superior Gloss Finish

The gloss optimiser means that photographers benefit from a uniform smooth gloss finish. This ink has a clear gloss optimiser which is a high-density transparent resin coating for coloured ink pigment particles. This delivers a durable, ultra smooth finish with uniform reflective characteristics and an even more glossy finish than previous UltraChrome Hi-Gloss inks.

Flexibility

UltraChrome Hi-Gloss2 ink prints onto glossy, matte and fine art paper. The Photo Black ink is suitable for printing on all paper types, Matte Black is optimised for matte papers: its particle density is higher than that of the other inks, allowing more particles to be placed into the paper with one ink droplet. The result is a higher Dmax for matte papers and respectively deeper blacks.
