The Brickcom MD-100Ae-00 is a fixed megapixel IP Dome Camera in a very low profile case, making it ideal for doorway/approach environments or ceiling mounting where there is limited headroom. It is vandal resistant and weatherproof so the Brickcom MD-100Ae-00 is particularly suitable for public transit or other municipal infrastructure applications (including trains, planes and busses).

The Brickcom MD-100Ae-00 Dome Camera is fitted with a 2.86mm wide angle lens as standard, this ensures a large field of vision or even a close range field of vision for maximum security coverage. The Dome Camera can easily be powered from the supplied PSU (or any other 12VDC feed) or by Power Over Ethernet (PoE) if you have a PoE Ethernet switch or PoE injector.

Full 1024 x 800 Widescreen megapixel resolution is backed up by triple-codec support to make most efficient use of bandwidth and video archive storage. The Brickcom MD-100Ae-00 allows simultaneous viewing in two different resolutions, for example full resolution for local viewers and a lower resolution for remote users or 3G access where bandwidth is lower.

Image motion detection allows you to define up to three selected areas in the image, if movement is detected in any of those areas (perhaps a probited zone on your site or office) the Brickcom MD-100Ae-00 Dome Camera will alert you by email or FTP with a snapshot of the video clip.
