Recently, there has been a growing number of fraudulent and suspicious communications sent by unofficial persons and organisations.
These misleading and fraudulent scams are often found on social media or sent via SMS or Email.
These scams may;
- Ask you to fill out and complete surveys for a reward (typically a Gift Card, Voucher or ‘free’ membership)
- Ask you to trial a product and offer you to keep it once you fill out a questionnaire
- Offer deals that may be ‘too good to be true’
- And other similarly suspicious content
If you do receive any communications that sounds like the above, we recommend ignoring or deleting the email. We strongly recommend not clicking through to any links in these emails as it’s likely they will lead to a non-secure and/or compromised website. Likewise, we advise against opening or downloading any files attached to these emails.
