MWAVE E-Sports April Update

It has been a busy few weeks at MWAVE Australia working with the community to push out various online E-Sports tournaments via CyberGamer. Let’s have a look at the recent competitions and results with a brand new tournament just announced.



ManKid Presents ‘Remember the Days’ BF3 5v5 Conquest Competition


MWAVE Australia has teamed up with ManKid from the CyberGamer community to host a ‘Remember the Days’ competition for Battlefield 3. Prizes up for grabs will be a SteelSeries V2 Heat Orange Edition Headset for all players who placed first and the runner up team a SteelSeries 4HD Mouse Mat.

CyberGamer CS: GO Season 3 Final Placings



The Counter Strike: Global Offensive Season 3 competition hosted by CyberGamer has come to a conclusion. Thanks to all teams who participated in the competition and congratulations to those who walked away with prize money. Here are the results:


Division One

First Place: regulators - $1,600

Second Place: TRIDENT - $800


Division Two

First Place: Control eSports - $700

Second Place: SEQUENTIAL GAMING - $400


Amateur Division

First Place: Vice - $350

Second Place: Virtual - $150


VOX CS:GO Aftermath Weekend Competition



Another competition that came to a conclusion was VOX PLAY Aftermath Tournament for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive which saw teams competing for the $500 Cash Prize Pool. The event showcased 24 teams battling for the final 8 with Vox Eminor taking out first place and Sequential Gaming taking out second place. Congratulations to the winning teams and thanks to community for their support.

Call of Duty: Ghosts 4v4 Season Two Championship



On the Xbox One side, Season Two of the 4v4 MWAVE Call of Duty: Ghosts Championship also came to a close with Team Immunity taking out the top position followed by T.1 Dotters and AVANT-GARDE. With a total pool of $2,000 cash prize on offer, Team Immunity took home a nice pay check of $1,200 defeating T.1 Dotters whom recently placed fifth in the Call of Duty Championship 2014 in LA. Congratulations to the winning teams and a big thanks to all the participating teams involved. Also a shout out to the CyberGamer team for hosting the championship.
